What we do
Northgate Community Workshop is a volunteer-run space where neighbors learn practical skills together: bicycle repair, basic woodworking, mending clothes and small appliance fixes. Our members open the workshop three evenings a week and everyone is welcome, no experience needed.
Weekly schedule
- Tuesday — open bench night, bring your own project
- Thursday — bike repair basics with our senior mechanics
- Saturday — tool library and materials swap
Membership
Membership is free for residents of the Northgate area. Visitors from other neighborhoods can join two open sessions before signing up. We fund the space through small member donations and the annual street fair.
Contact
Drop by during open hours or leave a note in the mailbox at the side door. The coordinators check it every morning and answer within a day or two.
